The Terlingua is named after the famous Texas ghost town. The colors in this piece are meant to suggest the turquoise and copper jewelry found in shops and markets throughout West Texas. This piece features reclaimed siding painted in white, copper, and turquoise wood chevrons, and natural shiplap pine as a complement to the brightly-colored central design element. Handmade in Austin by Hemlock & Heather using 100% locally-sourced, reclaimed wood. Please remember, every piece is made with reclaimed materials, some variation in color and character will occur.

Hemlock & Heather

We love all things Texas, and so do Kris and Kelley Denby, owners of Hemlock & Heather. This dynamic duo has been rescuing abandoned wood and repurposing the pieces into works of art since 2012. A selection of original wall hangings from Hemlock & Heather. Each is handcrafted from wood pieces rescued by the artists. Our custom Texas Highways design features three distinct sections and is 20 inches wide.
